HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanim also attended the gathering alongside Their Excellencies ministers, Shura Council members, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Qatar. During the Eid sermon, Sheikh Yahya Bati al-Nuaimi highlighted the importance of honouring the rituals of Islam, describing them as a reflection of piety and obedience to God. He said Eid a-Adha was a significant spiritual occasion that reminded Muslims of devotion, gratitude and worship, while also strengthening family ties and reviving religious traditions in an atmosphere of celebration and communal prayer. Al-Nuaimi also stressed the importance of Udhiya (sacrificial offering), describing it as one of the central rituals of Eid al-Adha and urging Muslims to observe it in accordance with Islamic teachings. HH the Amir received well-wishers offering Eid Al-Adha greetings at Lusail Palace following Eid prayers. Among those received by His Highness were HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani and HE Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanim. Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers, undersecretaries of ministries, members of the Shura Council and groups of citizens also gathered to convey their greetings on the occasion.
