“The Arts Council Korea has named Lee Beom-heon, a special professor at Shinhan University, as its new chairman. The council, a state-run body tasked with leading the national arts agenda, said Lee was elected as its ninth chairman through an internal vote during a meeting on Monday. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also appointed eight new board members during the meeting. Lee and the new board members will serve a three-year term.
