YEARS OF SERVICE Peter Skensved, Physics, Faculty of Arts and Science The Principal's Office and Human Resources hosts the annual Celebration of Service. At the annual Celebration of Service dinner and reception, Queen’s employees marking milestone years of continuous service in 2026 were recognized for their commitment and dedication. Held on Wednesday, June 3 at Ban Righ Dining Hall and hosted by Principal and Vice-Chancellor Patrick Deane and Lisa Walsh, Associate Office of the Vice-Principal (Human Resources), the event brought together honourees and their guests. This year, 115 staff and faculty members were honoured for reaching 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, or 50 years of service at the university. “It is always a meaningful occasion to honour employees with longstanding careers at Queen’s, and I’m privileged to host this celebration of colleagues who have demonstrated enduring commitment to their work, students, and the university,” says Patrick Deane, Principal and Vice-Chancellor. “I am deeply grateful for the years of service and lasting contributions made by those honoured.
