Consultation begins on Queen’s Principles of Assessment nld4 Wed, 06/03/2026 - 19:46 A consultation has begun on seven new principles meant to articulate a shared approach to the design and use of assessment to support student learning. Developed by the Senate Committee on Academic Development and Procedures (SCADP), Queen’s Principles of Assessment are intended to inform instructors, learners, academic units, curriculum committees, and policy makers about how assessment is designed, implemented, and understood across the university. Queen’s students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to review the new procedure and are welcome to provide feedback . The consultation period ends on July 15, 2026. Additional information about the policy consultation and approval process is available on the University Secretariat website .
