Penampang Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton said the 16-year-old victim was found unconscious with severe injuries to her neck. “The victim was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu and is currently receiving treatment. Police are tracking down a male suspect in his 30s to assist in the investigation,” he said when contacted today.
