Iran’s chief negotiator links US dialogue to developments in Lebanon
Iran’s chief negotiator links US dialogue to developments in Lebanon Iranian Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator in talks with the United States, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said he warned Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri that continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon could affect the ongoing dialogue process with Washington. “In my conversation with my brother, Mr. Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, I emphasised that if the crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon continue, we will not only halt the dialogue process but also stand firmly against them,” Ghalibaf wrote on X. He concluded the message by declaring: “Long live the resistance! Long live the defence of the motherland! Long live the brotherhood of the Iranian and Lebanese peoples!”
