Jeonbuk National University reopens art hall after extensive renovation

“Jeonbuk National University has reopened an art hall following extensive renovation work, transforming it into a safer and more comfortable space for culture and the arts, the school said Tuesday. Yang O-bong, president of the university, held a reopening ceremony in the lobby of the Geon Ji Art Hall, a small theater at Jeonbuk National University's Samsung Art Center in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, on Friday. The university said the renovation project was made possible through an 8 billion won donation from Kim Jeong-ok, chairperson of the Kim Hee-kyung Scholarship Foundation for European Humanities.
