Malaysian Haj pilgrim dies of brain haemorrhage in Mecca, 10th fatality this season

“MECCA, May 25 — A 52-year-old female Haj pilgrim from Parit Jawa, Johor, became the 10th Malaysian pilgrim to die in the Holy Land during this year’s haj season after suffering a brain haemorrhage yesterday. Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), in a statement, said the deceased, who had travelled alone to perform the haj, was a pilgrim from the KT08 group and was staying at the Rehab Al-Janadriyah Hotel. “She was pronounced dead at Shefaa Hospital at 5am due to a brain haemorrhage. “Her remains were taken to Masjidil Haram for funeral prayers after the Zohor prayer before being laid to rest at the Sharai’ Cemetery in Makkah,” it said.
