NAU celebrates record-breaking generosity on Giving Day 2026
For the fifth year in a row, NAU Giving Day set a fundraising record. Thanks to the generosity of our extended Lumberjack community, we raised a whopping $1,221,449 from 1,035 individual donors. Your incredible support will help NAU expand access to higher education, empower students and strengthen the future of the university. Our record-shattering day of fundraising isn’t the only proof that Jacks have hearts of blue and gold. While some gave monetary support on May 1, others gave the gifts of their time and dedication, showing up to work at Giving Day informational tables throughout campus, help out at the Mother Road celebration event and more. Here’s a look at Giving Day 2026 by the numbers: Overall $1,221,449 raised 1,035 donors 1,185 gifts 130 participating departments across campus 20 campus and community engagement events 175 supporters at our Mother Road event Support for our colleges College of Education: $38,726 College of the Environment, Forestry, and Natural Sciences: $27,606 College of Social and Behavioral Sciences: $24,753 College of Health and Human Services: $17,260 More highlights The new 1899 Planned Giving Challenge generated five documented planned gifts, totaling $592,750 in planned giving commitments.
