Police top brass reshuffle sees new appointments at Bukit Aman, Perak and Penang
KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 — The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) announced the transfer of four senior officers involving positions at Bukit Aman and state contingents yesterday. Bukit Aman Corporate Communications chief ACP Julina Salehuddin said Perak Police Chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin has been appointed as Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) director. Other transfers involve Penang Deputy Police Chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin, who has been appointed as the new Perak Police Chief, while Malaysia Police Secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman Kassim has been appointed as Penang Deputy Police Chief. “Pahang JPJKK chief Datuk Mohamad Noor Yusof Ali has meanwhile been appointed as Malaysia Police Secretary with the acting rank of DCP,” she said in a statement yesterday.
