The University of North Dakota has a long history of providing distance education, launching mail-based correspondence courses in 1911 and later sending lessons via videotapes and DVDs. Today, UND’s robust online offerings include 135 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs and 70 undergraduate and graduate certificates.
