This is part of implementing the principles of governance of public funds and expenditure. He added that this step enables citizens to closely monitor projects implemented within their geographical scope, ensuring engagement and interaction with the ongoing development process in their governorates. The Minister also highlighted ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Finance to implement participatory budgeting mechanisms, through which the government seeks to involve young people and civil society organizations in discussing challenges facing governorates and proposing suitable projects and practical solutions. The meeting concluded with discussions on several development and service projects scheduled for implementation in Sharqeya Governorate, particularly road projects, as well as the developmental challenges facing the governorate.
