World Cup 2026: Ranking some of the best kits from the Middle East and North Africa Submitted by Imene Guiza on Thu, 06/11/2026 - 10:40 A look at five of the best kits from MENA countries competing at this year's tournament Morocco scores highly (Puma) Off The World Cup is finally here, and while there may be plenty of problems surrounding this year's tournament, fans everywhere are hoping, as always, to see some incredible performances on the field. With the world's eyes fixed on the competition for the next five weeks, we've taken a look at some of the best and worst kits representing five of the eight countries from the Middle East and North Africa. Some countries kept things simple. Others tried to push the boat out. A few managed to strike the right balance between the two. Not every kit left an impression, but these five stood above the rest. Here's how they ranked, from five to one. 5. Algeria Adidas has unveiled the new Algeria Home kit for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which takes inspiration from Algeria’s natural landscapes. The cream-coloured home shirt draws from the Sahara’s rolling dunes, while the darker green away kit reflects Algeria's more rugged terrain. The desert-inspired patterning gives the design some character, and the use of the national flag crest helps reinforce its sense of identity. It may not be the boldest strip at the tournament, but there's a clear story behind it. 4. Qatar Our national team’s white kit 🤍 A design inspired by sand dunes, featuring geometric patterns that reflect the beauty of Qatar’s landscape, with details that embody pride 🇶🇦 pic.twitter.com/TUtkARDWfD — Qatar Football Association (@QFA_EN) March 21, 2026 Qatar largely sticks to a familiar formula, but sometimes that's not a bad thing. The maroon home shirt is clean and well executed, with a central zig-zag motif that references the national flag without overwhelming the design. The away kit takes a slightly bigger swing, introducing soft grey tones and flowing patterns inspired by desert dunes. Neither shirt is particularly adventurous, but both are polished and cohesive. 3. The home shirt keeps things understated, using subtle feather detailing across the shoulders to add texture without distracting from the overall design. The away version leans more heavily into red, but retains the same structure and identity. It's a consistent set from top to bottom and one of the tournament's most complete collections. 2. Saudi Arabia Adidas has revealed the new Saudi Arabia 2026 Home kit, which the national team will wear during the FIFA World Cup 2026 and future international fixtures. The home shirt layers patterns inspired by traditional architecture and regional design elements over a deep green base. There's a lot going on, but it mostly comes together. The away kit heads in the opposite direction, opting for a lighter palette, textured detailing and gold accents that elevate an otherwise simple design. Whether you love it or hate it, it's difficult to ignore. 1. Morocco Puma have revealed the Morocco 2026 home kit for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, combining tarz-inspired embroidery patterns with performance-focused construction. Morocco 's home shirt combines a rich red base with green detailing, while traditional embroidery on the collar and cuffs roots the design firmly in Moroccan craftsmanship. The away kit takes a more restrained approach, pairing a clean white base with subtle geometric patterns inspired by the country’s tilework and architecture. Both shirts feel connected, distinctive and thoughtfully executed. In the end, Morocco produced the strongest overall set of any team from the region, making it a comfortable choice for number one.
