Sources said the woman is believed to have fallen from the 17th floor, but the exact cause of the incident is still under investigation. Personnel from the Kota Kinabalu district police headquarters and Kota Kinabalu police station were deployed to the scene upon receiving a report. Forensic officers from the Sabah police contingent headquarters were also present to assist in investigations. The body was later sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for post-mortem examination.
