Role Profile

We are searching for an educator who genuinely enjoys working collaboratively — someone adaptable, positive, and committed to maintaining high standards and professional pride.

The Science Department consistently achieves remarkable results in external examinations at both IGCSE and A Level. We are looking for a candidate with experience teaching students aged 11-18; leading the physics curriculum at the upper levels of the school will be a vital component of this role. While the ability to teach mathematics as a second subject is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Many of our students are exceptionally gifted in science, pursuing studies at prestigious universities around the globe.

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognized teaching qualification (BEd or PGCE/GTP equivalent) and at least two years of teaching experience in a UK or British international school context.

Confidence in delivering the English National Curriculum with creativity, rigor, and adaptability.

A strong ability to leverage technology to enrich the teaching and learning experience rather than merely replace traditional methods.

The capacity to inspire students by fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and warmth.

A reflective approach to practice, open to experimentation and learning, and someone who thoughtfully incorporates meaningful innovations over time instead of chasing every new trend.

A true team player who contributes positivity, flexibility, and balance to the school community.
